restaurant renovation

Since launching GBL Interiors i’ve been privileged to work with some amazing clients and businesses. Transforming this brasserie in Sidcup was my first restaurant renovation and one that took a lot of planning. Working alongside the very talented carpenters and decorators to achieve a look and feel that was light & comfortable with great atmospher.

The Bar

One of the big design elements was reconfiguring the bar, making it smaller and expanding the walk in area. We repurposed the marble on top of the bar cut it down to fit onto of the newly panelled bar. The bar was painted in ‘Obsidian Green’ by Little Greene and the ceiling and perimeter walls mirrored with an antique mirror and wine racks finished with a rich black paint to offset the green.

  • The restaurants perimeter walls were painted in ‘Tea with Florence’ & ‘Pearl Dark’ which we also ran up onto the ceilings. All paints by Little Greene.

  • Lighting was all sourced from John Lewis and oversized light bulbs B&Q.

  • Art work used throughout was Desenio and Frames from HM Home

  • Cushions a mix for HM Home and Ikea
